Sunshine and Friends

We have had such a great weekend. On Friday night I helped host a square dancing party at the Y. There wasn't a whole lot of people there but we had a good time. I think we will try it again in the fall. Makayla spent the night at a friends house and so Saturday Dylan and I hung out. He had a friend come over and his mom and I sat on the grass in the sunshine while the boys played. It was great. Then in the afternoon the kids and I headed out to the Farm. This, for those of you that don't know, is where our great friends Tanya and Jeff and their 2 kids live. We love to go out there because the kids get to run around and play with each other and the animals, and the adults get to sit around the fire and visit. Tom had to work so we missed him but he did get to go over to some buddies house and play poker after work so it worked out well. On Sunday Tom, Makayla and Papa went fishing for a couple of hours. Makayla was the only one that caught a fish! Of course the batteries in the camera died right before that happened :-( Oh well. They had a great time. In the afternoon we were off to another great friends house, Holly and Louies (aka to Dylan as hollylouie with no space). We had a great time there as well. Ate too much at both places but really enjoyed visiting with good friends and letting the kids be kids. And the sun, oh how we love the sun!!!
