My last day for a week

This morning we were able to have our pictures taken by a great photographer. You can check out her photography blog here...http://mividaphotography.blogspot.com/ I know her from the YMCA and also from my friend Mimi. It was so much fun because she has this great outdoor spot that she likes to go and it was so easy and carefree. We got pictures of all of us and many different combos. I can't wait to get to see them! It was nice that it wasn't in some same old studio with the same old poses. Dylan was hilarious because we would tell him to smile and then Rebecca would ask him a question and he would answer with his teeth clenched because he was trying to keep smiling. It was quite amusing and he had us all laughing as usual. Makayla is a natural at getting her picture taken and has always been a ham in front of a camera. Her only downside is that she has this natural nak of looking away from the camera just as the picture is being taken.
Afterwards we went and had a picnic at the park and spent some good family time together. Tomorrow we drive the kids down to meet Tom's mom (Grandma Ancy as Dylan says) so that they can spend time with them. They will be gone for a week (YIKES). It is the 1st time that Dylan has been gone for more than a day and so I am a little bit nervous. I think that it will help that Makayla will be with him. She has spent a week down there for the last 2 summers so she is a pro. He will be fine, I hope! Only time will tell......
