Projects at home

Yesterday after work the kids and I decided to come home and do a few art projects. While Dylan was sleeping Makayla painted a birdhouse to put out in the backyard. She is quite the artist and put a lot of thought into her design. After Dylan woke up we mixed together some cement and all 3 of us made stepping stones. The kids put their hand prints in and also decorated with some mosaic pieces. Dylan's favorite part was breaking up the mosaic pieces with the hammer! He loved that and wanted to just break up tile. We have to let them dry and then pop them out to see how they turned out.
