When I was over at Jo Dee's house she was telling me about a scrapbook that she had seen. It talked about scrapbooking traditions along with your other "normal" scrapbooks that you would do. For instance, if there is something that your family does every time they go on a trip scrapbook and journal about that. Something that you will reminisce about when you are older or your kids are older. She used the example of when her sister goes to a particular vacation spot they stop at Costco and get hot dogs and pizza before loading up on groceries. Now, normally you wouldn't take a picture at Costco or really even mention it in your scrapbooking but it is something they always do. A tradition so to speak. It really opened up my eyes to all sorts of new things to take pictures of!
Last night at dinner was just such one of those moments. We were eating a delicious and nutritious meal of corn dogs. Since Dylan has starting eating corn dogs, he eats them until he gets to the stick and then takes out the stick and puts it sideways into the corn dog to make it an airplane. He came up with this little trick all on his own but does it every time! So here is my 1st random tradition photo. Dylan and his airplane corn dog.
